Cheesy, catchy, bizarre earworms. Chintzy electronics, drum machines, treated/processed guitars, often questionable vocals. But impeccably written and conceived. Pop hits that never were, and never will be. For the most part.

This is the wildest, most entertaining mix I've made. Some of the strangest songs you'll ever hear, but also some of the most heartbreakingly gorgeous. There's a little bit of everything included: Electro, Synth-pop, Dub, Dancehall, Hip-Hop, Japanese New Wave, Neue Deutsche Welle, Cambodian pop, Hindustani pop, Detroit Techno, Computer Disco, Italo-Disco, Italo-trance, electronically processed vocals, synthetic slap-bass, whatever the hell Ciccone Youth is, the always uncategorizable cacophony of Men's Recovery Project, six magical seconds of Brian Eno, and an 11-year-old girl. Partner Eins - Warum müssen Autos fahren? - Die einzige Veröffentlichung der kurzlebigen NDW-Band. Bestehend aus Tim Renner (Gründer von Motor Music, Ex-Geschäftsführer von Universal Deutschland, SPD-Mitglied und von 2014 bis 2016 Berliner Staatssekretär für Kultur) und Young Hack Chi (Ex-Mitglied von Andreas Dorau & Die Marinas, bekannt für den Song “Fred vom Jupiter”).

Love A - Too Doof To Fuck - Eine Coverversion des gleichnamigen Songs der Punkband Pascow, der mir in dieser Post-Punk angehauchten Version viel besser gefällt als das Original.

Tocotronic - Electric Guitar - Tocotronic ist meine “I just can’t get into them” Band und ich weiß nicht mal genau, wieso. Ja, ein paar ihrer Songs sind ganz nett aber der Großteil davon holt mich einfach nicht ab.

Alles.Scheisze - Hutbürger Maik - Alles.Scheisze macht Electropunk im Stil von Egotronic, auf deren Alben “Keine Argumente!” und “Ihr Seid Doch Auch Nicht Besser” sie auch gefeatured wurden. Falls sich jemand fragt, was Elektropunk eigentlich ist: Synth-Pop, aber wütend.
